Feelings LIE 👀 | DON'T ACT A FOOL (Christian Rap Remix)

"DON'T ACT A FOOL (REMIX)" is an original Christian Hip-Hop song inspired by Proverbs 28:26—a warning about trusting our own hearts, following feelings over truth, and mistaking worldly approval for wisdom. The heart can be convincing. Feelings can be loud. And just because something feels right doesn't mean it's leading you in the right direction. Scripture warns us about a dangerous kind of confidence: trusting ourselves more than we trust God. "My circle small... I'm walking with the wise. You follow feelings, that's a fool in disguise." Who are you listening to? ⚔️ DON'T ACT A FOOL — REMIX Culture says follow your heart. Scripture says guard it. Pride says trust yourself. Wisdom says trust the Lord. The world celebrates doing whatever feels right. But God's Word calls us to something deeper than emotion. Discernment. Humility. Obedience. Proverbs 28:26 reminds us that trusting our own hearts can lead us into foolishness. That doesn't mean emotions are always wrong. It means our feelings were never meant to replace God's truth. A wise person doesn't ignore every feeling. They learn to examine those feelings through the Word. "Fear of the Lord, yeah that's where it begin." Because real wisdom doesn't begin with self-confidence. It begins with reverence for God. ----------- 📖 SCRIPTURE BEHIND THE SONG Proverbs 28:26 — Whoever trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks in wisdom will be delivered. Proverbs 13:20 — Walk with the wise and become wise, for the companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 9:10 — The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart rather than leaning on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths. Jeremiah 17:9 — The heart is deceitful above all things, reminding us why we need God's truth to guide us. James 1:22 — Don't merely listen to the Word and deceive yourselves. Put it into practice. ----------- 🔥 WHEN YOUR FEELINGS GET LOUD... Let the Word speak louder. When pride says you know best... Seek wisdom. When the crowd says follow along... Follow Christ. When your heart wants what God's Word warns against... Choose obedience. Not every open door is the right direction. Not every popular opinion is wisdom. Not every feeling deserves to lead. You don't have to follow the crowd to know where you're going. Walk with the wise. Stand on the Word. Trust the Lord. DON'T ACT A FOOL. 👇 What's one Scripture that helps you make wise decisions when your emotions are pulling you in another direction? ----------- 🎵 ABOUT THIS REMIX This is an alternate version of "DON'T ACT A FOOL," featuring the same original lyrics with a different musical style and production.
