Walking the Camino Primitivo: My Unforgettable Journey to Santiago

Many people say that the Camino Primitivo is the most difficult of all the Caminos, mainly because of its mountainous stages. It’s also said to be the most beautiful one. Having walked the Camino Francés last year, I wanted to experience it for myself. The two-week period needed to complete it turned out to fit perfectly with my travel plans this year. So I packed exactly the same way I did last year and here i’m flying to Oviedo, the starting point of the Camino Primitivo , ready to start walking on April 1st. I’m about to embark on one of the most memorable trips of my life—walking through breathtaking landscapes and meeting wonderful people along the way. This is the story of my 13-day journey on the Camino Primitivo.
