How to Silence Negative Thoughts — What the Bible Says

Do negative thoughts keep replaying in your mind? Sometimes the loudest voice we hear is not the voice around us, but the voice inside our own thoughts. Fear, anxiety, guilt, criticism, and discouragement can slowly shape the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and even our relationship with God. But the Bible gives us a different way. In this video, we explore how to silence negative thoughts according to the Bible and how God’s Word can help us guard our hearts, renew our minds, recognize unhealthy voices, and replace lies with biblical truth. You’ll discover practical biblical principles for dealing with negative thinking, including how to: • Guard your heart and mind • Test negative thoughts against God’s Word • Renew your mind with biblical truth • Be careful about whose voices you allow to influence you • Bring anxiety, fear, and negative thoughts to God in prayer This is not about pretending that difficult thoughts don't exist. It is about learning to bring those thoughts into the presence of God and allowing His truth to have the final word. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 If you're struggling with negative thoughts today, remember: you don't have to fight every thought alone.
