I think main reason to NOT use this augment is that it lack any useful advantage over other Salvo oriented augments. You are trafing moment of surprise and large amout of dmg behind one salvo shot for smaller arcade shots which do have shot delay (it's not instant unlike salvo mode shot) , less splash area and limited range at which dmg start to be smaller. It can work, but what's the point?? Perhaps it's time to nerf Salvo oriented augments for Gauss and start to focus on Arcade mode augments?
