My three-day journey to the Little Rann of Kutch in Gujarat turned into an unexpected adventure as heavy monsoon rains and flooding made my search for the Indian Wild Ass more challenging than expected. From flooded salt flats and muddy tracks to encounters with flamingos, jacanas, and other wildlife, this journey was full of surprises. Despite the difficult conditions, I finally managed to find and photograph the Indian Wild Ass on the third day.
