This video dives deep into X-Ray for Performance Engineering, showing the process of extracting the relevant traces, segments, sub-segments and even sub-sub-segments and delivering them to an InfluxDB database for visualization in Grafana or other processing.
This video follows on from the previous video, which shows how #AWS_X-Ray data can be viewed in a high resolution time series database, along side transaction response times from a load test, to see direct relationships between trace segments and poorly performing transctions.. • Performance Analysis with LoadRunner, X-Ra...
The lambda code reviewed in this video can be downloaded from here: https://testdataservices.com.au/docs/...
Please note that this was a quick 'proof of concept' project, and the code words in the situation where I used it, but it may have problems if traces and trace segments in your environment present unhanded situations. But please give it a go and see how you go.
FOr a tutorial on setting up a more simple integration between X-Ray and a load testing tool, check out this video. It includes every step, including necessary IAM setup: • Tutorial to setup AWS X-Ray / LoadRunner I...

Test automation can be hard, and using email automation, as explained in this video can simplify your standard DevOps driven testing, load testing, performance engineering or even application performance monitoring. Email catching allows easy email confirmation for website signup automation. The site used in this example is an AWS powered Cognito website, and testing is demonstrated using VUGen / LoadRunner.
