The Wellerman (Sea Shanty)【cover by Emery】

POV: you're aboard a pirate ship and the captain is an asian man a few weeks ago someone requested i sing this song and i'd never heard of it until then, so i searched it up and was surprised by how much i loved it! i don't have tiktok so i guess it's easy to miss out on the hot new trends, and i'm definitely late jumping on the bandwagon, but this song is just too fun. probably sounds better with earbuds :^) unlike everyone else who has friends to sing this with them, i'm destined to be alone forever and thus recorded 10 separate harmonies, the higher of which are definitely not meant to be sung by a baritone. after dueting with myself and even terceting(?) once as well, i've finally evolved into my final form: an entire pirate crew. thanks for listening and i hope you enjoy! ✨ a HUGE shoutout and thank you to my Superstar patron Julia B. for making videos like this possible! ✨ ☆ help me continue to make music! ➜   / emerylouie   _____________ ✰ CREDITS ✰ original song: "The Wellerman" (made popular by The Longest Johns and Nathan Evans) art: vytamins ➜ [  / vytamins  ] + [  / ca1icos  ] + [  / vytamins  ] (an amazingly talented artist that you should absolutely check out!!) vocals: me!
