DIY Erhu with Plans on VideoZone888

This is a DIY guide to how I constructed an Erhu, the 2 stringed Chinese bowed musical instrument. The steps and plans I provide are based on information I gathered from multiple websites and some guesswork on my part. This is my first attempt at making this type of instrument. My only previous experience in making musical instruments was a cigar box guitar I made last summer. Since I have never played an Erhu I cannot compare how it sounds to a commercially made model, but it was quite an interesting challenge in research and construction.
