Celebrating Argentine Tango in Lithuania, 27 years after our debut with 4tango, back in the very same square in front of Vilnius Town Hall, as part of the event “Argentina in Vilnius.” A very special evening made possible by the wonderful collaboration of tango dancers from all the tango schools in Vilnius, as well as dancers who joined us from other cities. It was an evening filled with tango, music, dancing, memories, and friendship. A heartfelt thank you to the Vilnius City Municipality, which supported us 27 years ago and once again stood behind this very special event. A very special thank you to the Argentine-Lithuanian artist Elvyra Katalina Kriaučiūnaitė, who gave us the opportunity, the space, and the conditions to make this dream come true back in April 1999, at her studio and gallery „Kairė–Dešinė“, at Latako St. 3 in Vilnius. That was where this journey began. Gracias totales. My special thanks also go to tango teacher Aurelija Daugėlaitė and her school Aure Dance Tango, for the unconditional support I have always received from her, and for her tireless work and dedication to Argentine Tango in Lithuania. 27 years later, we are still here, still playing, still dancing, and still believing in tango.
