Conductor: Daniel Philips Cambridge University Brass Band is a non-auditioned, student-run society founded in 1987. Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2017, they had a special dinner and concert, welcoming back alumni through their partner society ‘Friends of CUBB’. Indeed, the band offers many opportunities in addition to fantastic music, including a traditional viewing (and love) of ‘Brassed Off’ and an annual tour to some lucky place in the UK. The group also incorporates CUBBASS, an informal A Capella singing society. UniBrass 2019 was hosted by Bangor University Brass Band. In 2020, the contest will be returning to Bangor University and will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. Produced by BrassPass and edited by UniBrass Organising Committee 2019/20.
