It was created in 2021 by merging Lok Sabha Television and Rajya Sabha Television. दुनिया 1945 से बहुत आगे निकल चुकी है, लेकिन क्या दुनिया की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण security institution आज भी largely उसी दौर की power structure पर चल रही है? United Nations की शुरुआत 51 देशों से हुई थी, आज इसमें 193 सदस्य हैं। लेकिन Security Council में आज भी केवल 15 सदस्य हैं और permanent membership उन्हीं पांच देशों.. अमेरिका, रूस, चीन, फ्रांस और ब्रिटेन के पास है। Council की आखिरी बड़ी structural expansion 1965 में हुई थी, जब इसकी सदस्य संख्या 11 से बढ़ाकर 15 की गई थी। अब भारत ने एक बार फिर इस व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए हैं। UNSC Open Debate में भारत की Chargé d’Affaires Yojna Patel ने कहा कि 1945 के एक युद्ध का परिणाम हमेशा के लिए दुनिया की decision-making structure तय नहीं कर सकता। भारत ने permanent और non-permanent दोनों categories में expansion, Global South की बड़ी भागीदारी, text-based negotiations और clear timelines की मांग की है। Guests:- 1.
