The inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, D.C. takes place August 22–23, 2026. It is the first-ever NTT IndyCar Series race held on the National Mall, featuring a 1.7-mile, 7-turn temporary street circuit passing iconic landmarks like the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol.
