Saga ist für uns als Band ein absolutes Herzensprojekt. Wir haben uns tief in die klassischen deutschen und österreichischen Legenden eingegraben und uns gefragt: Wie klingen diese uralten, düsteren Geschichten eigentlich heute? Die Antwort darauf bekommt ihr auf dieser Platte. Wir haben die alten Mythen ins Hier und Jetzt geholt. Es geht um menschliche Abgründe, um Versuchung, Naturgewalten und alte Geister – aber eben im modernen Kontext. Und musikalisch? Da machen wir natürlich keine Kompromisse. Wir packen diese Geschichten in genau das Gewand, das ihr von uns kennt: drückende, harte Bässe, kompromisslose Gitarrenriffs und die volle Wucht der Neuen Deutschen Härte. Es ist düster, es ist schwer, aber es hat auch unglaublich viel Melodie. ----- For us as a band, Saga is an absolute passion project. We dug deep into classic German and Austrian legends and asked ourselves: What do these ancient, dark stories actually sound like today? You'll get the answer to that on this record. We have brought the old myths into the here and now. It’s about the darkest depths of humanity, temptation, forces of nature, and ancient spirits—but in a modern context. And musically? We aren't making any compromises there, of course. We wrap these stories in exactly the style you've come to expect from us: driving, heavy basslines, uncompromising guitar riffs, and the full force of Neue Deutsche Härte. It is dark, it is heavy, but it also has an incredible amount of melody.
