The New Layout

Background. I recently relocated and as part of the sale of my home I had to tear down a layout that was in my basement for 20 years. On top of that the club I am a member of was forced out of its home. We were very fortunate to be in Paterson, NJ for close ti 20 years. I am still a member of the Bergen County Model Rail Road and the NJHR,both O’Scale. Because SC is low country, they don’t have basements where i currently live so when built my new home I created an oversized garage with AC. I will be adding an O’Scale ceiling loop next year. In the meantime the new 10 by 16 foot layout was created with the help of a professional builder. The collaborative effort lead to this video. The engines are from Scale Trains, the rolling stock is Atlas, Bachmann and Scale Trains. Pico Switches were used, Tortoise Machines drive the turnouts. Signals need to be adjusted for more realism.
