KAJ's Julkalender 2014 - Independence [ENG/SWE Subtitles]

Episode 6 of KAJ's Advent Calendar 2014 celebrates Finland's Independence Day (December 6th). Swedish subtitles are taken from YLE Areena (minus the explanations, I did those myself), and the English Subtitles are done by yours truly with the help of Swedish-speaking friends in the KAJ community, so thank you to all!!! **Louhisland could refer to Louhi from Finnish mythology, the goddess of death and disease. She is also the ruler of Pohjola, which could be linked to Norwegian raids across Österbotten (Pohjanmaa) in the 9th century **Åke Lindman was A Finnish actor and director who played a character in the film adaptation of "The Unknown Soldier" **The Kalle va' la bra" line is a pun on the Kalevala poem collection, but also imitates the Gothenburg dialect (which they are known for having many nonsensical puns) **Pehr Evind Svinhufvud was the third president of Finland, who played a major role in Finland gaining independence
