Join me as I explore the Eastern side of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦, going beyond the famous Old Bridge and discovering another side of this fascinating city. This Mostar travel vlog takes you through the streets, local communities, culture, architecture and everyday life of the eastern part of the city. Along the way, I had some lovely and unexpected conversations with people from Australia 🇦🇺 and Sweden 🇸🇪, which made the experience even more memorable. Meeting fellow travellers and sharing stories with people from different parts of the world was one of the highlights of this journey. One of the most heartbreaking moments of my visit was trying to access three mosques in the community, only to discover that they were not open to the public at the time. I had genuinely hoped to see these places and learn more about their history and significance, so not being able to enter was a disappointing part of the experience. Nevertheless, exploring the eastern side of Mostar gave me a chance to see beyond the usual tourist attractions and experience a different perspective of this beautiful Bosnian city.
