Atelier Rorona follows the tale of Rorona... duh. We see her working in the towns alchemy workshop under the... sorta tutelage of Astrid! Basically, Rorona is trying to pay off the family debt they owe to Astrid for her Alchemy work. Anyway, the game starts when a knight comes to visit by the name of Sterk. He informs Rorona that the workshop will be shut down (probably due to how lazy Astrid is) unless they can fulfil certain assignments over the next three years. Astrid, being super lazy, gives ownership of the Alchemy Workshop to Rorona so she doesn't have to deal with it. From there Rorona learns alchemy and get support by her friends and the townspeople: Cordelia von Feuerbach. Sterkenburg Cranach, Iksel Jahnn, Lionela Heinze, Gio, Tantris, Pamela Ibis and something named Hom. Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland DX is available on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch! It is an imporved version of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland Plus (that was on the PS Vita), which... in itself was an improved version of Atelier Rorona from the PS3!
