Still feel like a fraud after everything you've achieved? You're not alone — and you're not late.
In this talk recorded live in front of an audience, I break down the 6 types of imposter syndrome: the 5 everyone names, plus the 6th one I lived and call Has-Been Syndrome — that feeling your best work is behind you.
You'll hear:
• The Perfectionist — anything less than perfect feels like failure;
• The Expert — you must know everything before you contribute;
• The Natural Genius — needing effort makes you question your ability;
• The Soloist — asking for help feels like admitting you aren't qualified;
• The Superhuman — you must excel in every role to prove you're enough; and,
• Has-Been Syndrome — your accomplishments feel like they belong to a past version of you.
If you're 25-40 and first in your family to do this with no map — name yours early, don't sit solo with it. If you're 50+ — I'm still figuring out aspects myself. You're not late.
Which one of the 6 hit you hardest? Tap in below.
