What People Get Wrong About ADSR Envelopes

I sincerely struggled with this concept for a long time while learning synthesis so I wanted to bring some light to this even if it may be obvious to some. I also want to give a good starting place, called "sevens", for people to start when they get on a new synth. These are no means hard and fast rules!
