MAKING DECISIONS • SELECTED SCRIPTURES

GOSPEL. LIFE. HOPE. with Woody Every day, we make decisions. Some seem insignificant. Others can change the direction of our lives and our happiness and blessings, or add stress, anxiety, worry and reversal. In this fundamental message, Woody provides with you biblical principles for making the best decisions. GOOD DECISIONS ARE MADE BY FOLLOWING THE RIGHT WISDOM. In this passionate, fast-paced message, I walk through several powerful passages of Scripture that challenge us to examine not only the decisions we're making, but the condition of our hearts and the priorities shaping our lives. HERE'S WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE: 📖 Proverbs 3:1–10 — Trust the LORD with ALL your heart. Don't lean on your own understanding. Honor Him with your life and everything He's entrusted to you. 📖 Jeremiah 17:5 — The danger of putting our confidence in human strength rather than God. 📖 Psalm 73:21–26 — When emotions cloud our judgment, remember who holds us, guides us, and remains our strength. 📖 Psalm 37:1–9 — Stop fretting! Trust God, do good, delight in Him, commit your way to Him, and wait patiently. 📖 1 John 2:6, 15–17 — Walk as Jesus walked. Don't build your life around a world and its desires that are passing away. 📖 Matthew 6:33–34 — PUT FIRST THINGS FIRST! Seek God's Kingdom and righteousness before worrying about tomorrow. 📖 James 4:13–17 — Make plans, but never presume you control tomorrow. Submit your plans to God's will. 📖 Revelation 2–3 — Jesus calls His churches to examine their love, priorities, compromises, spiritual condition, and need for repentance. HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW: You can't control everything that happens around you. You can't control what other people think, say, or do. You can't guarantee that your plans will unfold the way you expect. BUT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THE RIGHT DECISIONS. Preaching Christ. Exposit Scripture. Proclaim the Gospel. Strengthen the Church. Reach the lost. Be ready for the Return of Christ. #MakingDecisions #TrustGod #BiblicalWisdom #ChristianLiving #FaithInChrist #GospelLifeHope
