Yella Beezy's capital murder trial opened in Dallas on October 27, 2026 — and day one belonged to two women.
MO3's mother, Nicole Noble, took the stand first. She told jurors she believed her son was in California filming a music video on November 11, 2020, then learned from missed calls that he had been shot on I-35.
She also told investigators to look into four people, including Yella Beezy, Trapboy Freddy, and MO3's manager Brandon Rainwater.
Then came the highway witnesses, the 911 call setup, the delivery-truck dashcam, first responder Chris Bloodgood, and medical examiner Dr. Jeffrey Barnard on MO3's fatal wounds.
In the afternoon, MO3's girlfriend Jocylynn Jackson testified under subpoena — she did not want to be there. She told jurors about the night of November 10, the morning of November 11, and the calls from Devin Brown, her ex and the father of her children, to their son that morning. Brown denied involvement in a message shown in court.
And then the defence struck back: the crisp, large bills Yella Beezy allegedly withdrew did not match the small bills recovered from convicted gunman Kewon White. Tunnel vision, the defence says. A personal dispute overlooked.
Yella Beezy, legal name Markies Conway, has pleaded NOT GUILTY to capital murder by remuneration and faces life in prison if convicted. He is presumed innocent. Kewon White was convicted on September 4, 2026, and sentenced to life without parole — his conviction does NOT establish Conway's guilt. Devin Brown is a co-defendant with a separate trial expected after Conway's, and he is also presumed innocent.
UPDATE NOTE (keeps the upload current without claiming day-2 coverage): Day 2 of testimony began Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
