In this countdown, June walks through 10 guns customers keep asking about, from the Ruger 10/22 and Mossberg 500 to the Marlin 1895 SBL, Smith & Wesson 686, Glock 19, Ruger PC Carbine and AR-556. There's a hidden rule behind the order. See if you can catch it before she does. You'll learn why a $3,000 thermal scope can't do one simple job, why night vision often beats thermal at telling you what you're looking at, and why the cheapest piece of night gear on the list might matter most. Tell us in the comments: on your nightstand gun, light or no light? Laws on night hunting and thermal optics vary by state. Check yours.
