Cryptopsy-Phobophile Piano & Bass Cover

This is my first time working piano into a cover and this part was really fun to learn and record so I hope to be able to do more piano covers soon. 🎹 (Side Note) 📝 My upload schedule has been a bit all over the place lately but I have been pushing my playing to the limits to try and develop my skills as much as I can. This means practicing harder songs and uploading less frequently. However, I want to be proud of what I put out, and I use my social media as a form of accountability for myself. For example, towards the end of this song, I added a fast tapping part that mimics the guitar, which isn’t in the actual song. I could have easily just edited in a good take or left it out of the cover, but I wanted to put in the time to improve my technique, hence the delayed upload.
