Rustom (2016) 4K Full Movie | Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta | Hindi Crime Thriller

Experience Rustom (2016) in stunning 4K, a Hindi crime thriller and courtroom drama directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. Starring Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta, Arjan Bajwa, Pavan Malhotra and Sachin Khedekar, this Bollywood film combines romance, betrayal, murder, suspense and political intrigue in a gripping story of honour and justice. Set in Bombay in 1959, the story follows Commander Rustom Pavri, a decorated Indian Navy officer known for his discipline, integrity and devotion to his country. Rustom enjoys a seemingly happy marriage with Cynthia, but his life changes when he returns from duty earlier than expected and discovers that his wife has been having an affair with his friend, wealthy businessman Vikram Makhija. Shocked by the betrayal, Rustom confronts Cynthia before leaving to obtain a pistol from the naval armoury. He visits Vikram's home, where three gunshots are heard. Vikram is found dead, and Rustom calmly surrenders himself to the police, admitting that he fired the weapon. The killing sends shock waves through the city. While some condemn the naval officer, others sympathise with a husband whose trust has been shattered. Senior Inspector Vincent Lobo begins investigating the circumstances of the shooting, while Vikram's determined sister Preeti demands that Rustom be punished for murder. As the case reaches court, Rustom surprises everyone by pleading not guilty and choosing to defend himself rather than appointing a lawyer. The trial attracts enormous public and media attention, turning a private tragedy into a national debate about marriage, morality and the meaning of justice. Prosecutor Lakshman Khangani tries to prove that the killing was planned, while Rustom challenges witnesses and insists that the events were more complicated than they appear. Meanwhile, Cynthia struggles with guilt and attempts to explain the circumstances that led to her affair. Their damaged relationship becomes central to the emotional conflict surrounding the trial. As Lobo examines Rustom's movements before the shooting, he discovers suspicious connections between Vikram, influential naval officials and a secret defence deal. What first appeared to be a straightforward crime of passion begins to reveal a larger conspiracy involving corruption, military interests and hidden motives. With his future in the hands of the court, Rustom must confront the truth about his marriage, his duty and the choices that brought him to this moment. Featuring a restrained performance by Akshay Kumar, an emotional portrayal of Cynthia by Ileana D’Cruz and memorable supporting roles from Esha Gupta, Arjan Bajwa and Pavan Malhotra, Rustom delivers an absorbing blend of courtroom suspense and personal drama. The soundtrack features music by Arko, Jeet Gannguli, Ankit Tiwari and Raghav Sachar, including the popular songs Tere Sang Yaara, Tay Hai and Dekha Hazaro Dafaa. Released in 2016, Rustom draws inspiration from the real-life K. M. Nanavati murder case, which became one of India's most widely discussed criminal trials.
