I had two trucks to get out of Cassidy’s yard in Tappen and back to the Barriere compound. Simple enough, except Mike Hall was helping, which meant I also got a full day of advice, criticism, and reminders that I don’t know how to load a trailer.
The first truck gave us a surprise when we actually got it running, until Mike noticed something we definitely didn’t want to see in the cooling system. So instead of driving it home, it became another trailer job. Then it was back to Tappen for vehicle number two, where Mike continued supervising every decision I made while I tried to convince him I knew what I was doing.
By the end of the day, both trucks were dealt with and Mike made sure everything was strapped down properly before sending me on my way. He might give me a hard time, but he also makes sure I actually get home in one piece.
Which one of us would you trust to load your truck onto a trailer, me or Mike? 😂
