Ruled by a ruthless regime only a few decades ago, this was once the most isolated country in Europe. From the thousands of underground bunkers to the mysterious-looking Pyramid of Tirana, remnants of the past can be seen everywhere. But modern Tirana has completely reinvented itself with the gorgeous new Namazgah Mosque and the unconventionally designed Skanderbeg Square. The nearby region is also home to the gorgeous Lake Bovilla and Gamti Mountain. Join us on our three-day trip to the Albanian capital. This city will surprise you!
