Мой худший кошмар на LZ World Tour

This was NOT how we planned to finish LZ World Tour… We're back at Castle Combe with the 3-rotor Volvo 745 for a full weekend of drifting, but after an overnight storm, practice starts in some of the sketchiest conditions I've ever driven in. Wet, dry, grippy, slippery… sometimes all on the same corner. 😂 After struggling through practice we head into qualifying, where my first run scores just 55 points. Thankfully we pull things together for run two, put an 82 on the board and make it through to the battles. But then things start going wrong. The Volvo becomes increasingly difficult to start, develops a misfire and we eventually realise we may have lost compression on the rear rotor housing. Not exactly ideal when you're halfway through a drift competition... Luckily, I happened to bring another 3-rotor drift car with me. 😏 ENTER THE ROTARY CORVETTE. With basically no time to adjust, I jump from a live-axle Volvo estate straight into the Corvette to battle Phil Morrison — and somehow WE WIN! That sends us through to face Alex Williams, where I decide to send it perhaps slightly harder than necessary... It wasn't the ending we wanted for the Volvo, but what an absolutely ridiculous way to finish the weekend. Now the engine needs to come out and head off for some attention ready for next season. And apparently Daddy needs an engine rebuild... so buying some merch would be greatly appreciated. 😂
