Sunrise, Surprise Sheephead & My Wife | Sunday in the Marsh

Sunday mornings have slowly become our time. The wife and I have gotten into a pretty regular routine of slipping away for a quick redfish trip, just the two of us. Nothing crazy, just a few hours on the water together before the rest of Sunday gets going. This trip wasn’t quite as successful as some of our others, but it’s hard to complain when you get to watch the sun come up over the South Louisiana marsh with your wife standing beside you. She did kick the morning off by catching an old sheepshead on a plastic, which definitely wasn’t what we were expecting. 😂 From there, we just enjoyed the morning, chased a few fish, and soaked up a little time together.
