Chambers of Rust - Track 2 from the album "The Forgotten Chambers", on Bandcamp: https://rainermuenz.bandcamp.com/albu...
Note: Due to changes in the eligibility requirements for the YouTube Partner Program, this is the only track from the four-part album that is being released here.
The story:
Far beneath the surface, hidden beneath layers of stone, concrete and rust, something has remained untouched for a very long time.
The entrance offers no explanation. There are no signs, no records, no indication of who built the chambers or why they were buried so deeply beneath the world above. Only a passage leading downward, into a darkness that seems to have no end.
At first, the sounds are distant and almost indistinguishable from the shifting of the earth. Then, slowly, the darkness begins to reveal what lies within.
Ancient machinery emerges from the shadows. Vast structures disappear into the walls. Metal groans somewhere far beyond sight. Rhythms begin to form and dissolve again, as if the entire complex were still performing some forgotten function.
The deeper the descent continues, the more alien the chambers become.
Nothing appears to have been disturbed for decades — perhaps centuries. And yet there is a growing sense that the darkness is not empty.
Something is still here.
Something that may never have been meant to be found.
Deep below, beyond the last traces of the world above, the forgotten chambers begin to awaken.
