Three Weeks North — Life on a FIFO Roster

Three weeks north. Then a few days home. Then north again. “Three Weeks North” is RED DIRT SHIFT's song about the FIFO roster itself — charter flights, dongas, twelve-hour shifts, smoko, camp dinners, late-night phone calls and counting down the days until that little plane finally points south. The money might be good. But you can't bank a Sunday morning. For the workers living it and the families counting the days at home. Australian country rock. Pub rock. Working-life stories. #FIFOLife #MiningAustralia #AustralianCountryRock
