Tokyo Live 💖🥔 The HUGE Potato Box Continues… Homemade Gnocchi & Pumpkin Pudding! 🎃

Today we're staying indoors for another cozy cooking stream from Japan! 🇯🇵✨ I was originally planning to do an outdoor stream today, but Tokyo is expecting rain throughout the day, so I've decided to stay home and cook instead! ☔ Don't worry though—our usual outdoor adventures should be back from tomorrow! And today we're continuing a story from earlier this week... THE HUGE BOX OF POTATOES. 🥔📦 I'm still slowly working my way through all the potatoes I got from Furusato Nozei, and after cooking with them a few times, I've realized that these potatoes are REALLY starchy. So that gave me an idea... Let's make homemade gnocchi! 🥔 I absolutely LOVE gnocchi, so I'm really excited for this one! Hopefully these extra-starchy potatoes will give us some delicious, soft and fluffy gnocchi. We'll make the gnocchi from scratch and serve it with a creamy spinach and mushroom sauce! 🍄🥬 And because I also have some pumpkin sitting in my fridge, we're making dessert too! For dessert, I'm going to make pumpkin pudding! 🎃🍮 It feels like the perfect dessert for a cool, rainy start to autumn—and hopefully it'll be a good match after our homemade gnocchi. So today's unexpected rainy-day home stream is turning into a cozy autumn cooking day: homemade gnocchi, creamy spinach and mushroom sauce, pumpkin pudding, and another attempt to make this enormous box of potatoes slightly smaller.
