Azerbaijani Beach is a public beach located in the Al Shamal (Madīnat ash Shamāl) area in the northern part of Qatar. It’s known for its clear turquoise waters, soft golden sand, and scenic coastline — popular for family outings, camping, barbecues, and fishing trips at sunrise or sunset. Where it is & how to reach it The beach sits on the northeastern coast of Qatar within Al Shamal Municipality. It’s approximately 90–93 km north of Doha — around 1 to 1.5 hours by car. Most people reach it by driving north on the Q1 (Al Shamal Road) and taking Exit 66/72, then following signs or navigation to the beach area. What to expect No public facilities like restrooms or restaurants — bring food, water, shade, etc. Great for sunrise/sunset views, camping, fishing, and a relaxed beach day. Hi!
