Get ready for a big box of creative things that will make you want to grab scissors, glue and a few random items from around the house. In this video you will see a deep blue rose made from simple tissue paper, a giant fuzzy spider with huge shiny eyes, a tiny princess dressed in autumn leaves, a golden winged ornament, a soda can turned into a pen holder and a cardboard sign that glows like a real exit light.
WHAT YOU WILL SEE IN THIS CREATIVE THINGS VIDEO
The fun starts with a small paper princess whose long gown is built from orange and yellow autumn leaves glued onto a dark round board, with a tiny star wand and soft pink flowers sitting in the background. Next comes a pair of white slide sandals wrapped in black duct tape and smoothed down with a scraper, followed by a walk across a wooden floor dotted with little white bits. Then a roll of white tissue paper gets cut into petals that are colored in bright blue and yellow, stacked inside a glass and shaped around a green stem until a deep blue rose appears in the hands of the maker. Later a clear ornament ball gets covered with lines of hot glue, painted gold and fitted with shiny golden wings, and after that a piece of cardboard is cut into big letters and lined with red paper so the finished sign glows like a real exit light in the dark.
After that you will meet a giant fuzzy spider that starts as a foil ball with big eyes, then gets soft blue legs and a pink and blue airbrushed finish that looks hard to resist. Then a plastic bottle is cut into petals, colored with markers, warmed over a candle and attached to wire stems until a vase of glossy pink and yellow flowers is ready. Next a stack of simple paper cups becomes a tiny gift wrap with a chocolate bar inside and a dark ribbon bow on top. You will also watch a color mixing palette where black, orange, pink and blue paint get blended with a spatula into smooth new shades, and a popsicle stick airplane with small black windows takes shape in the hands of a very patient crafter.
Later on there is a cozy little cottage made from twigs and set on a wooden slice with green moss and a warm glowing window, a close look at a torch melting glass rods for handmade jewelry, and a yellow ribbed flower pot decorated one by one with tiny red ladybugs placed with tweezers. A plain soda can is painted red, covered with black web lines and white eyes and turned into a pen holder full of brushes. Then a painted blue sky and sea canvas gets a whole row of colorful little houses made from pebbles, and a sheet of paper fills up with colorful flowers that have googly eyes, wavy stems and tall grass drawn with markers.
Closer to the end you will see deep red petals shaped over a wine glass until they bloom into a rose that ends up beside a glowing pumpkin lantern, a cardboard boat with blue striped sails and tiny wooden masts sitting on a blue base, and a small Christmas tree built from a black paper cone and shiny silver pieces. Colorful magnetic tiles unfold from a flat cross shape into a full three dimensional shape on a white tile floor, a fluffy blue pom pom with googly eyes becomes a keychain, and a wooden chessboard filled with emerald green resin gets sanded until it shines. The last scene shows a half circle of cardboard, wooden sticks and cardboard leaves painted black to make a striking wall sun decoration.
