I was originally planning on starting with Overkill, but after a while I decided I was most comfortable with this one — it’s Calli’s favorite song on the album, and for good reason! I really love its the swing groove it’s going for, which is further enhanced by Calli singing like a broadway star. I wanted to try maintaining that feeling in this remix, complete with horns and everything (you can thank BBTAM’s “Voice of Trespass” & Karnivool’s “Roquefort” for helping me figure that out).
