The Casualty by Cursive

The air was full of jealous exhilaration. Jealous because this wasn't the first time Cursive had played through Domestica. Exhilaration because who cared, Cursive was playing a sold-out show at The Waiting Room. Could it be more fitting (or charming), as Cursive begins to play Domestica in its entirety on the album's 10-year anniversary before a sold-out hometown crowd at The Waiting Room Lounge Jan. 18, that the first line of the first song — "The Casualty" — escapes frontman Tim Kasher? We don't think so. We love this band. You love this band, too. And we're thrilled and grateful that Cursive let two four-man teams of our Ingrained camera crew capture the first two and last two songs of the album. Thanks, fellas.
