THE SHORTCUT — It Looked Like an Answer to Prayer…

What would you do if the opportunity you had been praying for finally came… but getting it meant taking a shortcut? Lami had worked hard, prayed, and waited for her breakthrough. Then, just when an opportunity seemed to finally open up, she was faced with a difficult choice: compromise her values for the opportunity she wanted, or trust God enough to do things the right way. Sometimes, the shortcut looks harmless. Sometimes, it even looks like the answer to prayer. But not every open door is worth walking through. The Shortcut is a story about pressure, compromise, obedience, consequences, and learning to trust God even when doing the right thing is difficult. Because what God has for you should never require you to lose yourself to get it. 📖 “Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice.” — Proverbs 16:8 Welcome to Theola’s Creed — stories of faith, purpose, struggles, and the everyday journey of following Christ.
