Coppersound/JHS Boost-A-Drive-A-Fuzz Build

I haven’t put together a circuit board since high school, so naturally I decided to build a guitar pedal and film it. In this first video for Should Be Fine, I work through the build, then plug it in and give it a listen. Consider it a little proof that a tinkerer with a soldering iron and some patience can put one of these together. You don’t have to know everything before you start. A big nod to JHS for opening the door for so many people through the Short Circuit series, and to CopperSound for their DIY series—especially this pedal, made in collaboration with JHS. It’s one thing to hear how a pedal works; getting to build one yourself makes you want to learn more. I’ll be doing more videos with this pedal on my board, along with electronics, woodworking, and whatever else catches my interest. I like making things and learning as I go.
