1991 egyik legendás DOS-platformjátéka, a Duke Nukem ezúttal teljes Shrapnel City-végigjátszásban tér vissza. 🤣 One of the legendary DOS platformers of 1991, Duke Nukem, returns in a full playthrough of the first episode, Shrapnel City. 😎 Duke Nukem 3D was one of the defining games of my childhood, but when I later discovered its predecessors, the Duke Nukum title felt rather disappointing. I assumed it was just some kind of knockoff, and the 2D platforming didn’t appeal to me either, so I never really paid any attention to Duke Nukem 1–2 back then. This time, though, I was surprisingly able to get through it quite smoothly — which is not always a given for me, because old-school platformers can sometimes give me a really hard time. 😅 In the first episode, Duke sets out after Dr. Proton, who is trying to take over the world with his army of robots. Along the way, robot drones, traps, secret passages, special equipment, and of course Proton’s constant taunts try to stop him. By the end, the conflict becomes personal, and the episode directly sets up the next chapter: Mission: Moonbase. All of the game’s English story text and Dr. Proton’s messages are also provided with Hungarian subtitles, while the entire playthrough features Hungarian commentary. 🎮 Duke Nukem (1991) 🌆 Episode 1: Shrapnel City ⏱️ approx. 72 minutes 🇭🇺 full playthrough with Hungarian commentary 📝 story text with Hungarian subtitles And yes: Duke was already Duke back in 1991 — while Dr. Proton talks about world domination, Duke is more concerned about whether he’ll still make it home in time to watch Oprah. 🤣 00:00:00 Bevezető 00:01:07 Level 1 00:05:19 Level 2 00:09:13 Level 3 00:18:15 Level 4 00:21:33 Level 5 00:40:43 Level 6 00:47:36 Level 7 00:53:39 Level 8 00:58:03 Level 9 01:02:25 Level 10 #DukeNukem #DOS #RetroGaming #ShrapnelCity #Longplay
