Easy Red 2 Just Added a Forgotten Battlefield – Khalkhin Gol

Easy Red 2 has just received its FREE Cold Steel update, introducing the forgotten Battles of Khalkhin Gol, fought between the Soviet Union, Mongolia, Japan and Manchukuo in 1939. In this video, I explore the new nine-mission campaign, take a closer look at the new playable factions, and share my thoughts on the latest additions to Easy Red 2. The update also introduces a brand-new melee combat system, the Japanese Type 89 knee mortar, new weapons, tanks and aircraft, and an experimental game mode called Dynamic Operations. It's not often that a WWII shooter explores a conflict as obscure as Khalkhin Gol, so I was particularly interested in seeing how Easy Red 2 would represent it.
