UNI-T Digital USB Tester / MultiMeter

A review of the UNI-T UT658B digital USB testing meter. This is a useful tool for checking current (amp) draw, voltage, and milliamp-hour power consumption. However this does not confirm correct wiring of USB household outlets. This fills in where a traditional multimeter cannot, being able to check USB energy consumption of USB electronics and USB charging systems. For under $10, the price is right. There are two variations of this tool, the UT658B includes a 4" flexible USB extension on the male end of the tool, while the UT658 simply has a retractable male end without the flexible extension cord.
