Meet Mary Mayer's 1990's Kenmore Model 385, powered by a .60 amp motor, manufactured in Taiwan

This Kenmore arrived with a broken reverse, and a number of other mechanical challenges, but she's sewing like a champ again. This is Mary's go to machine, and was purchased NEW about 26 years ago. See, with proper maintenance, and some workshop magic, a 1990's machine can still be GOING STRONG in 2021!!
