Chesterton Railfanning

Chesterton Railfanning Recorded on 10/4/19 from 7:00am-3:08pm After facing numerous conflicts, we finally headed back to the Norfolk Southern Chicago Line in Chesterton, Indiana at Riley’s Railhouse. The morning was a bit chilly but at least the weather started to improve throughout the day. It was a bit breezy outside but that didn’t stop us from having a good time out trackside. Basically, the action was almost about the same last time we visited. But we didn’t come home empty handed. We were also hoping that we would catch a Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit (specifically any Heritage Unit that we haven’t caught yet). We kinda got our wish but hopefully it's a start for when we come back to the NS Chicago Line in the near future. We stayed a bit longer than expected due to last minute trains approaching. As a result, we did get stuck in rush hour traffic on our way back home. Overall, we had a good time in Chesterton filming the rail action.
