Entering Arunachal Pradesh on Scram 440 | Tinsukia to Hayuliang via Wakro | Day 3

Day 3 of our motorcycle journey finally brings us to the mountains! After pushing through an exhausting 1,100 kilometres of highway riding over the last two days, we decided to hold off on heading directly to Dong Valley. Instead, we are taking on a 220 KM stretch today, starting from Tinsukia, Assam, and heading towards Hayuliang in Arunachal Pradesh. The flat highways are officially behind us, and the real hill ride begins here. The excitement peaks as we cross the Dirak Gate via NH15, officially entering a brand new state. Our first major stop is the peaceful and stunning Golden Pagoda, before we set our sights on Parashuram Kund. While there is a more common route via Tezu, you know we love a proper adventure. We chose to take the alternative road via Wakro instead. It is incredibly scenic, far more offbeat, and takes us deep into the dense forests and narrow, unexplored roads of Eastern Arunachal. We are taking the Royal Enfield Scram 440 to the easternmost part of India, intentionally ditching popular tourist hubs like Tawang. We crave the unknown and the less explored—places where there isn't enough prior data or endless YouTube videos to tell you what to expect. This trip is a pure journey through unknown roads, remote villages, and mesmerizing views. Fair warning: this video is a bit long because it was genuinely difficult to turn the camera off. Every road and every single turn was just too beautiful to miss. The absolute highlight of the day?
