Meet the Artists of MexAmeriCon 2025 | Artist Circle

Meet the talented artists and independent creators of MexAmeriCon 2025! In this special Artist Circle video, participating artists introduce themselves, share where they’re from, and talk about the comics, illustrations, crafts, stories, and original artwork they create. MexAmeriCon is Central Texas’ first Mexican American and Latinx comic book convention. This community-supported, nonprofit event provides a welcoming platform for Mexican American and Latino artists working in comic books, graphic novels, zines, manga, fan art, illustration, pop culture, and related creative media. Artist Circle celebrates the people behind the artwork. These creators draw inspiration from culture, family, identity, community, imagination, and personal experience. Their work represents the growing range of Latino voices in independent comics and visual storytelling while introducing audiences to new characters, artistic styles, and original stories. MexAmeriCon brings artists and audiences together through Artist Alley, creator interviews, panel discussions, live music, cosplay, artisan vendors, family activities, and community programming. It is an inclusive celebration of Mexican American culture, Latino creativity, comic book art, and the power of representation in storytelling. Watch the video to meet creators from Austin, Central Texas, and beyond—and discover what they make, what inspires them, and how they contribute to the world of independent art and comics.
