BTK Killer: Caught 31 Years Later/Dennis Rader

For decades, the man known as the BTK Killer lived a double life. Between 1974 and 1991, Dennis Rader murdered 10 people in Kansas. Then he disappeared from the public eye for nearly 13 years. In 2004, BTK suddenly returned and began communicating with police and the media again. He wanted attention, believed he could control the investigation, and even sent investigators a computer disk. That decision would become the mistake that exposed him. In this documentary, we examine the murders, the rise of BTK, his return after years of silence, the investigation that identified him, and the confession that finally ended one of Kansas' most notorious serial killer cases. 00:00 THE OTTERO FAMILY MURDERS 00:58 WHO WAS DENNIS RADER 02:47 THE RISE OF BTK 04:54 THE RETURN OF BTK 08:00 BTK'S MISTAKE 10:06 BTK'S CONFESSION 12:10 VERDICT: WHO WAS BTK? #BTK #DennisRader #TrueCrime #SerialKiller #TrueCrimeDocumentary #CrimeStories #FBI
