Many years ago, I learned how to play from a master accordionist who believed in sitting down by my side and showing me how he did it--literally giving me his craft and ideas on each song that we picked and played together. I decided to sit down and explain to other accordionists some of the musical ideas I learned along the way so they could experience and understand perhaps my style--what I play and why I play it using the same format.
