Failure Analysis of a Beckett 7505 Burner Control

Note that repairing or modifying a burner control will void safety approvals, and may invalidate insurance coverage in the event of a malfunction that results in fire or other damages. A malfunctioning Beckett oil burner control was tripping out on safety due to a faulty resistor array. We troubleshoot to find the faulty component, and demonstrate that this was the cause of the improper behavior by bringing the controller back to a working state after component replacement.
