Bhupinder_Kabhi Kisi Ko Mukammal (Ahista Ahista; Khayyam, Nida Fazli; 1981)

"Tere jahan mein aisa nahin ke pyar na ho, jahaan ummeed ho iski wahaan nahi milta..." One of my most favorite ghazals from Hindi films. Nida Fazli, the great poet-lyricist, penned this excellent ghazal for the 1981 film Ahista Ahista. Khayyam's tune is so infectious, and Bhupinder's rendition is perfect. We also have a version by Asha Bhosle, which is also great. But I somehow prefer Bhupinder's version. Apologies for using a picture of Naqsh Lyallpuri instead of Nida Fazli in the video.
