Why doesn't anyone know how to flirt anymore?

I used to be an interpreter. My job was words, finding them, moving them between languages, watching how feelings could change shape depending on which language was i was using. I think we're losing something. Reading is declining, it's disappearing from how we grow up. And I don't think that's a coincidence with something else that's disappearing too : the ability to flirt, to feel tension, to sit in the slow, awkward, electric process of falling for someone.
