Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) has a rough introduction to Salem High, with Jason and the other kids poking fun at her right in front of Belle (Kirsten Storms), who is clearly not okay with what she is watching. Meanwhile, Sami (Alison Sweeney) gets nervous when Austin (Austin Peck) starts talking seriously about stepping back into the ring, though he insists he has learned from last time and will know his opponent inside and out before he ever fights again. Sami also keeps trying to get Brandon (Matt Cedeño) to open up about his past, with mixed results. Things get tense when Austin gets caught in the middle of a fight between Brandon and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) over whether she should visit their mother, and Nicole is quick to snap at Austin for stepping in where he was not asked. Later, Roman (Josh Taylor) corners Austin with a pointed question: is he with Sami for Will's sake, or is he actually falling for her? Elsewhere, Nicole gives Greta (Julianne Morris) some fairly blunt relationship advice about pushing things further physically with Eric (Jensen Ackles) sooner rather than later, leaving Greta more unsettled than reassured. Meanwhile, Eric cannot seem to shake thoughts of Nicole while going through photos from a shoot. And in Marlena's office, John (Drake Hogestyn) presses hard for details on Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) therapy sessions, but Marlena (Deidre Hall) will not break confidentiality even now.
